Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Drama Labs GmbH ("we", "us") handles your information when you use Intermittent Fasting Tracker (the "App").
Summary
- The App works without an account. We never ask for your name or email address.
- We show no third-party ads, use no third-party tracking SDKs, and do not sell your data.
- Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.
- Apple Health access is optional, read-only, and never used for advertising.
- You can ask us to delete the data linked to your device at any time.
Data we process
Device identifier
The App uses an app-specific identifier provided by Apple's App Store for this App (if it is unavailable, the App generates a random identifier on your device instead). It stays the same if you reinstall the App. This identifier is not your name, email address, or Apple Account, and we cannot use it to identify you personally. It exists so the App can store your fasting data and apply its features.
Fasting and weight data you record
Your fasting sessions (start and end times, fasting goal) and the body weight entries you record are sent to and stored on our servers so the App can keep your history and progress. They are linked only to the device identifier.
Apple Health (HealthKit)
If you choose to connect Apple Health, the App asks for read-only access to:
- Body weight
- Body fat percentage
- Active energy burned
- Resting (basal) energy burned
- Step count
The App uses this data to show your activity and calories burned during a fast and to track your weight progress. It never writes data to Apple Health.
Body weight readings imported from Apple Health are stored with your other weight entries and sent to our servers, linked only to the device identifier, as described above. The other Apple Health values (body fat, energy burned, steps) are used on your device only; our usage analytics record only whether such data is available, never the values themselves.
Data from Apple Health is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with third parties.
You can turn Apple Health access off at any time in the iOS Settings app (Privacy & Security → Health → Intermittent Fasting Tracker) or in the Health app.
Purchases and subscriptions
All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. To unlock your subscription, the App sends us the purchase details Apple provides (product, transaction ID, purchase and expiry dates, whether a free trial applies), linked to the device identifier. We never see your payment details. If you redeem a promotional code in the App, the code is sent to our servers to check it.
Usage analytics
We collect first-party usage events (for example which screens are opened and whether a feature succeeds or fails) to improve the App. Usage events are sent without the device identifier; a few summary settings (for example your language, number of fasts, notification and Apple Health status) are stored with the device identifier. If you installed the App from an Apple Search Ads ad, the App also records the ad campaign details Apple provides (campaign, ad group, keyword, country) once; this uses no advertising identifier. You can turn usage analytics off in the App's settings. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Crash and performance data
The App uses Apple's MetricKit framework to collect crash and performance reports from your device and sends them to our servers without the device identifier. They help us fix problems in the App.
What we do not collect
- No name, email address, or phone number — the App has no account system
- No location data
- No contacts or photos
- No advertising identifiers and no cross-app tracking
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on managed infrastructure operated by our hosting providers, protected by encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
How long we keep data
We keep the data linked to your device identifier for as long as you use the App. If you ask us to remove your data, we delete it permanently.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU General Data Protection Regulation), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Because we do not know who you are, requests are handled per device identifier — contact us at the email below and we will help.
Data deletion
To request deletion of all data linked to your device, email fastingtimer@mydrama.de. Because the identifier is not shown in the App, we will help you identify your data — for example from the dates of your fasts.
Children
The App is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this page.
